In 2028, Aqua’s quirky, colourful world and their iconic global hits will be reimagined for the stage in a spectacular new musical designed to travel the world.
 
The iconic Danish pop group Aqua – loved worldwide for chart-topping hits like Barbie Girl, Doctor Jones, and Turn Back Time – is about to take the stage in an entirely new way… 

In collaboration with AHA Creations, a brand-new original stage musical inspired by Aqua’s playful universe and unforgettable music is now in development. Set to premiere in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2028, the production is being created from the very beginning with international ambitions – with eyes on major stages in London, Hamburg, New York, and Dubai.

Aqua The Musical will premiere at The Royal Danish Opera. 
 
Aqua is deeply involved in the project, and every major hit from the group will be included in the musical.
